Well done chemistry practice / review book

This book is an excellent way to test your knowledge with challenging, exam-like problems. Plus, it has a great way of explaining concepts in a concise manner. I saw tons of my exam questions in this book and many web-assignments -- I highly recommend it for general chemistry.

If you want to learn Chemistry, get this book!

The best general chemistry problem book I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. The chapters each start out with several example problems showing the step-by-step process to the solution of the problem. Then the rest of the chapter is devoted to many problems to solve, with just the answers at the end of each chapter. Learning chemistry is best done by solving chemistry problems. This book does it best.

Not all that!

Purchased this for my daughter who was going to take an AP Chem course. She told me that if you are beginning this book on your own without previous notes from a basic Chem class you will be lost in using this book. She was very frustrated and finally had to drop AP Chemistry because she could not complete her summer homework before starting the the course in high school because she was so lost trying to use the book and attempting to get supplemental information to clarify the book. I will be selling this book. Disappointing!
