Question for the readers above

Before buying this book ask yourself this, did the reviewers above actually win the lottery after buying the book and why isn't every PHd in Mathematics and statistics doing the same thing. Please buy a book on basic statistics before buying this book. there are no secrets no clustering just randomness. You will lose 50 cents on average for every dollar spent.
Save you money instead of buying what is a piece of garbage.

A fraudulent book

This book is based on the false concept that there is a substantial and readily detectable bias in lotto/lottery draws, which one can take advantage of and win money. Nothing could be further from the truth. All games are regularly tested with sophisticated statistical methods to make sure there is no bias and thus all numbers are as random as can be obtained. This does not rule out a rare screw up by a state game. Few if any of the sets of numbers in the book could have come from any honestly run game, but only from the warped and dishonest mind of a con man and a scam artist. A few examples will serve as illustration.

On p.17 Jones shows a lottery frequency chart in Fig.4.2 that he claims is based on 500 draws of a 4-ball game. But the data are doctored. A bright high school student taking a statistics class can calculate that the table is a fake.

Next, go to p.24 and look at the positional analysis of a Pick-4 game in Fig.5.3
Count how many hits there are in each position and note that the ssums are all different. Specifically, they are 50-42-41-51 for a total of 184 and a mean of 46, which each position must have. But Jones has used faked data to illustrate a false idea. Any recommendation based on faked data is bogus.

As a third example look at positional analysis of a 6/49 game on p.47. In Fig.6.5 none of the six positions have the same sum. They vary from 49 to 70, which is absurd. He then uses the same data for a positional analysis of a 5/35 game by extracting the 5/35 part of the 6/49 data, as if the two games could have identical numbers.

Jones ha copied, plagiarized and stolen Dimitrov Wheeling Systems from G.Howard,
who has the copyright to them.

In summary, the book is a dishonest and or an incompetent piece of crap. The publisher, Cardoza, was informed years ago about these and many more faked data but republished them without any change. Cardoza and book sellers honor only the maxim: Caveat emptor or sucker beware.

Prof. Jones is a professional gambler and could not be a professor of any academic subject.He seems to be a teacher of flim-flam and public deception.

You could make more money buying tickets for the $10 than this book. Borrow it at your libray aand test his phoney ideas on past drawings before risking any money.

This book does not help you win the lottery. While there are strategies that can help improve your odds of winning, this book does not do a good job explaining them. In fact, you can get better tips and strategies on lottery information website, for FREE. This book was a huge waste of money. Save your money and check out lottery information websites like [...]. At least if you aren't happy with the information provided, you didn't waste any money!

Reads like a Bad Romance Novel

I was so disappointed with this book. My husband is an avid fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series so I decided to read this novel (because I love historical fiction) to see if I liked his writing style. This book was obviously written by a man and it reads more like a bad romance or porn novel, than historical fiction. I had to quit after about 1/3 of the book because I couldn't stand the lack of storyline development and the constant sex. The pages were either filled with extremely boring political accounts(reads like a history book) or extremely immoral behavior. There is sex on almost every page-- it's not romantic or realistic. Nothing leads up to the intimacy described and it is not moving in any way-- the character just has women throwing themselves at him (hence why I said it must be written by a man-- who is living in a fantasy world!!) The characters are shallow and unlikeable and the rest of the story is boring. I threw this book away and don't recommend it to anyone. My husband swears that the Wheel of Time series is written completely different, but now that I've read this (...) I'm not certain I even want to begin the Wheel of Time series.

A great read, and very informative about the American Rev.

Michael Fallon, in the Fallon Blood, is one of the most interesting and believable characters I have found. This book covers his trials and his successes over an extended period of time that covers the American Revolution. I found the book to be very exciting and dramatic, while at the same time historically accurate and educational. I would reccomend this book to anyone. A very enjoyable read. What is Robert Jordan's real name??

A great historical adventure

The Fallon Blood is an excellent work of historical fiction, and it ought to be read by all who have a love for adventure and who have even just a mild curiousity about the American Revolution. Jordan commands both a top notch understanding the war and late 18th century American lifestyle.
Jordan writes about the period via a story about fictional characters who occasionally run into famous historical figures. Generals Lafayette and Nathaniel Greene, for example, make appearances in the novel. Younger writers, such as Jason Manning, have written with this approach, but Jordan is masterful with this book.
Despite his excellence, Jordan is not without his weaknesses. Even with all of the historical expertise he displays in the pages of the Fallon Blood, Jordan will always be a "Conan the Barbarian" writer at heart. The hero, Fallon, is handsome and macho. Sex is offered to him frequently and easily. He possesses tremendous skill and physical strength as a soldier. The women are beautiful and extremely sexually active. The villains are evil and twisted. Hence, the story is a bit unrealistic at times, but what a fun way to learn a greal deal of historically accurate information about early America!
Readers from South Carolina will loves this book more than any other fans of Jordan's work. Jordan possesses an undeniable arrogance and pride about the role of South Carolina in the American Revolution, and the Fallon Blood is his vehicle for sharing those feelings and beliefs with the rest of the world. Regardless of whether or not you will agree with Jordan's historical evaluation of his home state, this book is a sexy and exiting look at the birth of our nation. Give it a read!

Another excellent ready by Cristin Harber!

After barreling through Only For Him, I was super excited to read this follow up. The character development in this series is excellent, and I feel as if the author left nothing out. I felt instantly connected to the story early on.

The relationship between Emma and Garyson is so compelling, and even after reading the first two in this series, I am still so excited to read the others. I felt such a connection to the characters and the story of their unwavering love, even in times of separation and difficulty.

The inclusion of some characters from her other series HAD me. And the ending had me laughing so hard, I was crying and pumping my fist in the air! Simply CANNOT wait until her next books!

Wow! I've been a fan of Cristin Harber ever since I was introduced to her Titan Series.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book since I kind of went into this series blind. Though I'm glad I did because I truly enjoyed getting to know Emma and Grayson. Only for Her, picks up right where Only from Him ends and boy did it leave us hanging!

My heart broke for Emma in this book And learning where her life journey went after Grayson left.. But we soon find out that true love never dies.

Overall I loved this book. Looking forward to part 3!

Very predictable.
I did get invovled in the story, but it pisses me off that I have to stop reading every 125 pages to buy a new "book"! Why on earth is it not just one book!?
Thisted alone costs a star. Should have cost more for how much it irritated me

Very useful book.

This is a very interesting and well written book. I am a mother of 2 boys and this book actually gave me some great insight into how their minds work. My husband enjoyed it a lot too. It's a great book to have for parents of boys of all ages.

Helpful if you are interacting with boys (and men...) on a regular basis

Insightful. Easy to read. Helpful. Betweenthe grandson, 1 preschool class, and K-1 class I suddenly have a lot of little boys in my life. This book not only is helping me with them - it's helping me understand my husband and sons-in-law.

Astute and practical

For anyone involved in their upbringing, boys present a number of peculiar challenges. They are disproportionally likely to inflict violence on themselves or others (for example, they account for over 80% of suicides and 95% of homicides in their age groups), they are more likely to use alcohol and drugs, they mature and develop some cognitive skills (such as reading and writing prowess) later than the girls their age, they are much more physical than girls (which cannot be truly accommodated by the educational environment in most schools today). To top it all, boys do not really know how to talk about their feelings, so they are unlikely to identify their emotional problems, let alone find a way of resolving them.

The book's merit extends beyond pointing out that the problem exists. The authors suggest some practical ways of helping today's boys. It is respecting their feelings and approaching them more with questions rather than answers and suggestions to tough it out. It is trying to create a loving and safe atmosphere, where boys are more likely to risk opening up. It is helping them create emotive vocabulary, which would help them articulate how they feel. It is creating opportunities for safe failure, which would help boys get to know themselves. It is having some safe places where boys could spend their energy (such as a basement gym or a neighborhood basketball court). It is teaching them emotional courage and empathy, which could help them recognize who they are and build character.

Insightful, well articulated and timely. A great book.

I just want more!

After reading "The Paris Wife," it lead me to wanting more on the twisted life of Hemingway. Naomi Wood does a nice job of briefly covering each wife and their time with Mr. Hemmingway. I would not say that it goes into great depth as to what these wives truly experienced while they were with him, but enough to get an idea. Since "The Paris Wife" had only covered one wife, I wanted to know more about the others that came after Hadley. As sick as it may be, I wanted to see Pfeif hurt, as well as Hemingway heartbroken when Martha said she was done(even though it was probably only for about an hour). Like I said, I feel like I need to keep reading other books to really "satisfy" the in depth story I am looking for, but this was a great, quick read.

I loved it! The charcters have a lot of depth, and I felt like I could empathize with each place the wives found themselves in. I wanted to read this because I share the authors name, and I am so pleased she wrote with heart, clarity, and depth.
