Christian de la Croix was desparate to save the life of his unborn son which makes for a dramatic opening in this fantastic medieval tale. I am a fairly new fan of medieval romance but if I had not been....this awesome debut book would have clenched it for me. If you have not yet read it do yourself a favor and get a copy soon and fall in love with this hero!!

5 stars. PHENOMENAL !!! By A Customer This is a *commanding* novel from a hot author. Her vivid description of the time is beyond incredible, and the steamy romance is enough to keep my thoughts out of order for a week... I simply cannot wait until the sequel comes out next fall!

Great, took me back to why I fell in love with reading

My love of reading started with medieval romances, so any time I get a chance to read one, I jump at it. And this story was a pleasure to read. I loved the main characters. Neither was perfect and made bad decisions, but they also owned up to them and at the end, it all worked out. Yes, I am one of those. I love happy endings and any book without one is going to rate less than 5 stars for me.

Clarisse is one of those women that I really enjoy reading about. She's brave, a little reckless, but intuitive which means she doesn't always assume that what is stated as fact, is in fact, true. Although she has heard the rumors about the Slayer, and thought them to be true since she didn't know otherwise, she didn't automatically condemn him as an evil man. And after she met him, she became less sure that those rumors were all correct. That didn't mean she trusted him with her secrets, but she knew she could not harm him, but that left her with little recourse but to hope that her betroth would help her save her family.

Christian, better known as the slayer, has made mistakes. And as a result of some of those mistakes and in some cases, unplanned deaths, he is feared by most everyone. His own staff and the people he is meant to protect think he is the devil. When his wife dies during childbirth, his reputation is further cemented as a man who slays everyone around him. Desperate for a nursemaid for his son, Simon, he hires Clarisse to care for him, but under threat of death if his son should die. Not the best way to show her he is not everything that everyone believes he is, but aside from his son and second in command, he has no one else.

Their is distrust on both sides, but they need each other too. So although neither has reason to trust the other, they learn to while also falling in love. The pace was great. There were a few times when I groaned at the continued lies or ultimatums, but I was fully engaged in their story. The story is not unique, but was fun to read and very well written. If you love medieval romances, then this is a great book to try. There is violence and sex, but nothing extreme. I would definitely recommend it to anyone over 14.

WOW! I adore Ms. Melton's Romantic Suspense, but gotta say, this Medeival adventure is FANTASTIC!!
Fast paced, thrill ride of emotions with engaging, energetic and charismatic characters. The storyline is unique, well written, intriguing and very, very interesting. Filled with betrayal, secrets, suspense, redemption, forgiveness, healing, mystery, romance, passion and deception. I absolutely adored the heroine and the hero in this story. While the hero is nicknamed, "Slayer",Christian de la Croix(Simon), is so much more. The, heroine, "Clare", Clarisse du Boise, is made to be a part of a deception in order to save her family, that could possibly result in either her death and her family's peril or find Clare and Simon the love of a lifetime.
A complex, compelling and powerful story! Ms. Melton has once again written a tale, where the reader with find themselves entrenched and held spellbound to the pages of this story and it's characters. You can feel their pain, their frustrations and their love. The emotional turmoil just flows off the pages.
A page turning tale from the first page to the last page! I absolutely loved "The Slayer's Redemption". I can hardly wait for the next installment of the "Warriors of York". A must read! Fans of Medieval Historical Romance, England, Suspense, a bit mystery, lots of deception, passion and romance will love this tale. A fantastic read!! Highly recommended!!

Outstanding! A must read for Medieval romance readers

Marliss Melton know for her Navy Seals and Echo Platoon series has show us that she can also write outstanding medieval romantic suspense. The best romances always have us hoping for a happy ever after even if there may seem to be no possible way. In the Slayers Redemption we have intrigue, deception, battles & betrayal that keep us turning the pages all the while hoping Christian & Clare can survive and have a life together. If you enjoy medieval romance and suspense this is a book you don't want to miss.

The worst Book ever

I have read many books in my long, tedious life, and I must state this is possibly the most boring of them all. I am now a old man, coming up to my 86th birthday. I have read up on many interesting topics on twentieth century history, mostly on wars like the Boer war, WW1 and WW2 which I participated in. I decided several months ago to read up on the UN, well seeing as I am confined to a wheelchair there are not many other activities to do except reading or watching television. By a cruel twist of fate I ended up reading Norrie MacQueen's UN peacekeeping book. The English is abominable and the book does not sustain the reader's interest throughout any of the less than mediocre chapters. Also it doesn't contain enough imformation on the topic it is supposed to be informing on. Even for a primary school student to write a small project.

The book is much more than a gallery of cover letters, although it is that as well. The first quarter of the book takes you through building your own cover letter from scratch and assists you in tailoring it to specific ads/conditions (i.e. pre-interview/no interview etc). This alone was quite useful. The remainder of the book is a huge omnibus of every imaginable type of cover letter, broken down by industry and also format. There are at least 8 to 10 cover letters per industry/type of job and each is written in a different format and by persons of differing circumstances. It will definitely get your creative juices flowing and assist you in crafting a perfect cover letter for the job you want. I almost forgot, there is a section containing eye catching resumes as well.

I have written three to four cover letters using the tips from the book, and also some of the examples for inspiration (I'll let you know how it goes :) ). This is definitely top notch and does precisely as advertised. Hot, sexy and intense - this series just gets better with each story

Sanctuary is Layla and Gavin’s story – an arctic fox and white tiger shifter romance. This story is very much more on the erotica side of paranormal. Their sexual encounters are very graphic, and sexually intense. I loved their romance, but this is definitely an 18+ adult story.

Layla was rescued from the same wolves who had kidnapped Lila and Petra. She had gotten off easier, but still it was an experience she never wanted to relive. She had been staying at the Tiero Towers with her new friends, trying her best to not let too much of her own past leak out into conversation. She hadn’t counted on having the handsome white tiger shifter Gavin as a friend nor for the strong signals her fox was sending out. She would love it if Gavin were indeed her mate, but the way he’s been acting lately it’s as if he wants nothing to do with her. Perhaps it’s for the best – she hasn’t been completely truthful with her new friends.

Gavin was longing for Layla. But he would be strong and stay away from her, no matter what his tiger was roaring at him. She deserved better than him. A military man trained in special ops, he was a killer and if he was smart he’d stay far away from the inticing arctic fox. Trouble is, that’s not working out for either of them.

Sanctuary is a very hot, fast paced story. We have the mystery of who exactly Layla is – and is she in danger. She and Gavin make a sexy couple who definitely are well matched in the burning up the sheets categories. And we get our first introduction of the polar bears of New York.

I enjoyed this novel very much and would recommend it for any reader who loves paranormal shifter romance. Again, this one is on the 18+ adult story side. So if a lot of intense, descriptive sexual scenes turns you off – you have been told. But I enjoyed Gavin and Layla’s story very much.

Sanctuary is book 4 in the Always After Dark series by Elle Thorne. It gives us the story of White tiger shifter Gavin Castro and Arctic fox shifter Layla Romanoff.

From the first moment that Layla set eyes on Gavin she knew he was her mate. Since her rescue they had become friends. Until Gavin gets it in his head that he is not good enough for her. She is a Romanoff after all. Gavin starts pushing her away which only hurts and confuses her. She and her fox know that he is their mate. Fighting his attraction to Layla was getting harder and harder. So when he finds her a Sanctuary he loses control of his animal. He marks and bonds with her without permission which Layla is perfectly fine with.

I have to start off by saying I totally love the cover of this book. Now about the book. I love this book. The characters are sexy hot, tough, strong, spunky and very well thought out. The pace is steady and fast enough that's it grabs you in. It's well written but does have a few typos but nothing that will in anyway take away from the enjoyment of the book.

I highly recommend this book and series!!!

Layla(Romanoff) ,sexy,sassy and foxy. Has no idea why she lost her friend. He is her mate – the Fox knew and so did she! She wants to know why Gavin is giving her the cold shoulder? Finding his beautiful body sanctuary she takes her pleasure and he takes notice. Her Fox yipes in delight She will do whatever to have him! Gavin Castro, tatted, sexy and oh so delicious. His dominance was just part of what she loved. He has just lost his head. Then he couldn't losing control,but with Layla he always did and although he has done something-unacceptable! He didn't ask,he just bite her arctic Fox, she submitted beautifully much to Gavin chagrin. To make matters worse some polar bears shifters have invaded and he has them held in tower 2 to have an impromptu meeting with the unlikely group. Gavin is shocked..She is a Romanoff and her father is none other then Mikhail Romanoff! The fact that she was held prisoner and was going to fight to the death has her father seeing red.. She will always be a princess and his babygirl...mated or not! Elle Thorne has yet another magnificently sexy, sinfully delicious addition to a stellar series! Gave the book 5 stars outstanding writing and a decadent cast of unforgettable characters. Bravo Elle!

Whenweagreedtoshareallofourpreparationofexercisesinsamplingtheory to create a book, we were not aware of the scope of the work. In making available this collection of exercises, we hope to promote the teaching of sampling theory for which we wanted to emphasise its diversity. The exercises are at times purely theoretical while others are originally from real problems, enabling us to approach the sensitive matter of passing from theory to practice that so enriches survey statistics. The exercises that we present were used as educational material at the �cole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information (ENSAI), where we had successively taught sampling theory. We are not the authors of all the exercises. In fact, some of them are due to Jean-Claude Deville and Laurent Wilms. We thank them for allowing us to reproduce their exercises. It is also possible that certain exercises had been initially conceived by an author that we have not identi?ed. Beyondthe contribution of our colleagues, and in all cases, we do not consider ourselves to be the lone authors of these exercises:they actually form part of a common heritagefrom ENSAI that has been enriched and improved due to questions from students and the work of all the demonstrators of the sampling course at ENSAI.

For College Students

This really troubled me on the fact that this edition number was listed in the class syllabus but then I find out that everyone including my professor were using the newer edition.
And there is a difference between the forth edition and fifth edition, mostly on the pages, so when ever my professor says one page I need to find another.

So advise is to buy the newest edition which ever may be current.
